The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
